SMALL TOWN & BIG DREAMS

First Bank presents Small Town & Big Dreams Tuesday, Feb. 2 at the Palace Theater.  The festivities begin at 5:30 pm with heavy hor d'oeuvres, entertainment by First Bank's own Pat Roper and then settle in and listen to "The Maximum Motivator" Micheal Burt.  Admission is $20.00, with all proceeds going to The United Fund of Cumberland County.  For more information contact the Palace 484-6133 or First Bank 484-2521.

The sun will come out, tomorrow!  Kids and teens across the Cumberlands team with Playhouse pros!  Michele Colvin (Hairspray, Seussical) directs and dances them all from the Orphanage downtown to the 59th St. bridge, to Warbucks' uptown mansion and back.  One of the top family musicals EVER.  Contact the playhouse for ticket information 931-484-5000.

In honor of Black History month, PAART will present British actor Cedric Liqueur in his one-man theatrical production depicting the life and bravery of Williamson County African-American Buffalo Soldier George Jordan.  This performance will take place at the Palace Theatre Feb. 5th at 7:00 pm.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Contact Palace Theatre 484-6133.

Chocolate Fest returns bigger and better than ever!  The Art Guild at Fairfield Glade proudly presents this event on Sat. Feb. 13th, from 9 am to 3 pm at the Multi-Purpose Building.  A donation of $6 per person permits unlimited tasting and sampling of the finest chocolate sensations this area has to offer.  There will be music, mingling with friends and a Bake-Off contest for the Ultimate Decorated Cake.  For more information call Judy at 707-7104.

Join us for the 4th annual Antiques on the Mountain at the Cumberland County fairgrounds.  Area's largest antique show!  Hours:  Friday, Feb. 26th 1:00 - 5:00 PM; Saturday, Feb. 27th 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM; and Sunday, Feb. 28th 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM.  Free parking, door prizes, refreshments and a certified appraiser will be on hand Saturday from 12:00 - 3:00 PM.  Regular admission $4.00.  For show or dealer space information call 931-456-5035.
