Spectator Sports

Come autumn in Tennessee, it's time for football. The Junior Jets Football Program involves children 5 to 12 years and includes football and cheerleading.

Football of another sort is also prevalent in Cumberland County as the leaves start to change color. Crossville Youth Recreation Soccer Association (CRYSA) is an ever-growing and popular community sport.

Come spring, its basketball season. The Upward Basketball program offers both cheerleading and basketball play, with boys and girls teams.

The Crossville Centennial Park is home to many local spectator sports. The Centennial Park hosts several different seasonal sporting leagues including: Crossville youth baseball and softball; CRYSA soccer; men, women and senior softball; SACC summer baseball; SACC fall soccer; and horseshoe tournaments.

Crossville Youth Recreation Soccer Association (CRYSA)

CRYSA, founded in 1998, offers a soccer program to boys and girls under 16 years of age regardless of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. CRYSA is dedicated to providing a positive structured environment where children can learn the skills of soccer in a noncompetitive environment.

Junior Jets

The Junior Jets serves a feeder program for elementary football programs.  Children 5 to 12 years old can participate in football or cheerleading.  Equipment is furnished for participating children, with an average annual participation of some 150.  Six teams participate in the Tennessee Valley conference, so Crossville Junior Jets take on Sparta, Spring City, Pikeville, Dayton and Dunlap for a chance at the title in the Conference Bowl at the end of the season.

Upward Basketball

The Upward Basketball and Cheerleading program is offered through Central Baptist Church and strives to promote self-esteem in every child by providing equal playing time for every player, separate leagues for boys and girls and much more!

The Crossville Skate Park

The Crossville Skate Park is open seven days a week and features a unique, fun experience for skating enthusiasts.  The first of its kind in Cumberland County, the Crossville Skate Park is located at the Crossville Centennial Park.
