Rocky Top Ten Cinema

Crossville's Rocky Top Ten is a theater multiplex with state of the art sound and theater seating to insure everyone has the perfect view of their favorite movie. The Cinema offers residents and visitors a movie going experience that's absolutely first rate on every level. When visiting the Rocky Top 10, you can rest assured you'll be greeted with a smile.

 

Camp Nakanawa

Crossville's own girls' private summer camp, Camp Nakanawa, has been around for over 80 years. Generations of young ladies have grown up in the fun-filled, positive environment only Camp Nakanawa can offer to foster each camper's confidence and allow each to reach her potential. Campers, ages 8 to 17, from across the United States and several foreign countries sign up for summer sessions. Off season, Camp Nakanawa opens its doors to family reunions and church retreats, allowing everyone an opportunity to enjoy everything the camp has to offer.

 

Flip Fest

Flip Fest at Lake Frances is getting ready for its 9th year of operation. In June of 2006, the camp was moved from its original location in Knoxville to its permanent home, one-hour west, on 150 beautifully wooded acres in Crossville. Flip Fest is the only summer camp owned and operated by two Olympians John Macready and John Roethlisberger. When families send their children to Flip Fest, camp officials work hard to insure they return home with not only an increased zest for gymnastics but also for life!

 

Cumberland County Playhouse

For forty years, the Cumberland County Playhouse has been legendary in regional theater circles around the nation. In 2003, the Playhouse was one of four theaters in the nation chosen to produce CATS for the first time in regional theater. In 2004, the Playhouse was the first theater licensed by Disney to produce the world regional theater premier of DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. The Playhouse has laid claim to several other premieres, such as FIRST BAPTIST OF IVY GAP, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, and CROWNS! 2009 does not look any different with first time productions in store. The schedule includes SEUSSICAL, SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN, THE FOREIGNER, IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE, and the hit Broadway production HAIRSPRAY!!

 

Pirate's Plateau

Looking to go fast around the track or splash around in the water? Pirate's Plateau is a fun-filled spot with 18 holes of adventure golf, go karts, bumper boats, and a full size game room. For more information, please call 931-456-1544.

 

Wildwood Stables

Wildwood Stables offers family fun in the great outdoors!! They offer trail rides, pony rides, hay rides, stable activities, field trips, cowboy church, and so much more. They also offer special event packages and a concession and gift shop. "Come horse around with us!!"

 

Meadow Park Lake

Meadow Park Lake is a 270-acre fishing lake with fishing pier, boat storage, and boat ramp. The lake is open year-around, with seasonal RV or tent camping, boat rentals, cabin rentals, picnic shelters, and a camp store. For more information, please call 931-788-2034.
